Together, we’ll design a training plan to meet your needs.
Getting started
1
Book a Free Consultation
You’ll start the conversation with one of our licensed therapists to discuss your needs for therapy. At this point, you don’t need to have it all figured out, simply give us an idea of your hopes and expectations for therapy. For many, this is the most challenging hurdle to overcome. Our friendly therapist will make this an inviting and enjoyable process.
2
Tell us More About You
We’ll ask that you share more about yourself by completing a new client intake form following your consultation and before your first session. This form will prompt questions about your family history and life experiences. This exercise helps prepare your mindset for therapy while providing us with important information to match you with the right therapist.
3
Partner With us on The Plan
You’ll then partner with us on your training plan and begin your ongoing therapy with your therapist, typically at a weekly cadence, with regular or as needed check-ins about progress towards your goals. Improving your mental health is a healing journey and requires readiness and commitment, so we’ll agree to a partnership that honors the goals you’ve set for yourself.

FAQs
How long is each session?
Individual and coaching sessions are typically 45 minutes long and 50 minutes for couples therapy/family therapy.
What is the session fee?
Sessions with a licensed therapist is $185 and $125 with an associate therapist. We offer limited sliding scale options.
How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?
Research has shown that the number one predictor you will have a positive outcome in therapy (regardless of theory used) is the relationship you have with your therapist based on connection and trust. We encourage you to pay attention to how you feel in your sessions to determine whether or not the environment is a place where you can reach your goals. We will be sure to check in with you to ensure that you feel connected with your therapist in order to facilitate the best possible outcome for your treatment.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time we are accepting Optum, Aetna, United Healthcare and Carelon (formally Beacon). If you have a PPO plan we can provide you with a super bill that you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement at the rate they offer. We also have to ability to utilize payment from behavioral/mental health funds. All payments are to be made at the start of session.
What is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy?
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT therapy) is a type of mindful psychotherapy that helps you stay focused on the present moment and accept thoughts and feelings without judgment. It aims to help you move forward through difficult emotions so you can put your energy into healing instead of dwelling on the negative. Act is about taking effective action guided by your deepest values and in which we are fully present and engaged.
